Towing Load Leveling System for 2017-2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 single rear
wheel 4x4 pickup trucks. Designed for trucks lifted from 4 to 7 inches over the
stock height. This kit is designed to be
an upgrade to a BDS lift kit which already has the correct lift blocks, see kit
photos for images of the correct block. These
systems are engineered, tested, and manufactured in Coldwater, Michigan by BDS
Suspension to deliver dependable load support without compromising suspension
performance.
Unlike traditional air spring systems that rely on bulky bracket
assemblies and often require removal of the factory overload springs, the BDS
Performance Towing Load Leveling System features a simple, innovative design
that installs quickly while retaining the truck's factory overload springs.
Remove the factory bump stop and spacer block, install the integrated air
spring mounting block and upper bracket assembly, torque the hardware, and
you're ready to tow.
A patent-pending rubber-isolated lower air spring mount allows the axle
to separate from the air spring at full suspension extension, maintaining
maximum suspension travel while protecting the air spring during off-road use
and uneven terrain. Heavy-duty air springs are designed to safely operate at
zero PSI when unloaded, preserving a smooth factory-like ride. Premium
DOT-approved nickel-plated brass air fittings, DOT air brake line, and a
single-fill tee fitting provide reliable, leak-free performance and easy
pressure adjustment.
Every BDS Performance Towing Load Leveling System is equipped with the
largest air spring and highest load-carrying capacity package that can be
packaged for each application. Operating from 0-125 PSI, the system delivers
exceptional load support while helping level and stabilize heavily loaded
trucks. Although the air springs can generate enough lifting force to support
loads exceeding the vehicle manufacturer's recommended payload, they do not
increase the OEM GVWR, payload, axle ratings, or towing capacity. Always
operate within the manufacturer's specified weight limits.
Complete your towing setup with the optional BDS129006 onboard compressor
system and Ford Super Duty mounting bracket (BDS133801) for convenient in-cab
air pressure adjustment. For even greater stability and control, add a set of
FOX shocks to improve damping, reduce body motion, and inspire confidence when
towing heavy trailers or hauling substantial payloads.
