2020-2026 GM 2500HD and 3500HD pickup trucks. Designed to fit trucks from 5 –
6.5 inches of lift, these systems are engineered, tested, and manufactured in

BDS131901 should be ordered if the truck is already equipped with the
current lift blocks. Installation of
kit BDS131901 requires the use of BDS lift blocks to properly position the
lower air spring mounts. For trucks equipped with a 5-inch lift and OEM
overload springs, use block kit BDS021458. For 5-inch lift applications without
OEM overload springs, use block kit BDS021459. For trucks equipped with a
6.5-inch lift and OEM overload springs, use block kit BDS021618. For 6.5-inch
lift applications without OEM overload springs, use block kit BDS021619.
Unlike
traditional air spring systems, the BDS Performance Towing Load Leveling System
features a rubber-isolated lower air spring mount with an innovative design
that allows the axle to separate from the air spring at full suspension
extension. This unique setup maintains maximum suspension travel while
protecting air spring components during off-road use and uneven terrain.
Built for long-term durability,
each kit includes heavy-duty air springs designed to safely operate at zero PSI
when unloaded, providing a smooth factory-like ride when additional load
support isn't needed. High-quality DOT-approved nickel-plated brass air
fittings and DOT air brake line ensure reliable performance and leak-free
operation, while the included tee fitting allows both air springs to be
connected to a single fill point for simple pressure adjustment.
BDS simplifies product selection
by offering a single part number for each application. Rather than multiple
options, every BDS Performance Towing Load Leveling System is equipped with the
largest air spring and highest load-carrying capacity package that can be
packaged within the vehicle. Operating within a pressure range of 0-125 PSI,
these heavy-duty air springs generate enough lifting force to support loads
that exceed the vehicle manufacturer's recommended payload capacity. However,
it is important to note that while the BDS Performance Towing Load Leveling
System can help level and stabilize heavily loaded vehicles, it does not
increase the OEM Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), payload rating, axle
ratings, or towing capacity of the vehicle. Always operate within the
manufacturer's specified weight limits.
For the
ultimate towing and hauling experience, BDS recommends pairing this system with
the BDS129006 onboard compressor system and optional GM 2500HD/3500HD mounting
bracket (BDS131802) for a clean, straightforward installation and convenient
in-cab air pressure control. To further enhance vehicle stability and control
under load, add a set of FOX shocks. Engineered to provide improved damping
performance, FOX shocks help reduce body motion, improve handling, and deliver
greater confidence when towing heavy trailers or hauling substantial payloads.
